A detailed guide for users to navigate and input details for Guarantors.

๐Ÿ‘ค Guarantor #1 โ€“ Filling Out Personal Details on Financeable

This section helps us know who the guarantor is and confirm their identity. Just follow the simple steps below ๐Ÿ‘‡

  1. ๐Ÿ”ฝ Select your Title
    Click on the dropdown next to "Title*" and choose the appropriate title (e.g., Mr, Mrs, Ms, Dr).

    โš ๏ธ This field is required. If you skip it, youโ€™ll see a red warning like in the screenshot.

  1. โœ๏ธ Confirm your Name Details

    • First name*: After generating an ASIC file this would be pre-filled for you. (e.g., DHIREN)

    • Other given names: Leave blank if not applicable.

    • Last name*: After generating an ASIC file this would be pre-filled for you. (e.g., SHAH)

โœ”๏ธ Double-check spelling and use CAPITAL letters if needed for clarity.

๐Ÿ“… Date of Birth
Ensure the Date of Birth is in the format: DD-MM-YYYY
Example: 19-03-2010

โš ๏ธ If this is incorrect, click the box to update it.

๐Ÿ†” Enter Your Identification Details

  • You can either use a Driver Licence or click "Use Passport" to switch to passport details.

  • If using Driver Licence:

    • Click on the field and enter your Licence Number

    • Click on the field and add your Licence Card Number (if required)

    • Click on the field and fill in the Expiry Date (format: DD-MM-YYYY)

  • If using Passport

  1. Enter Your Passport Number

    • In the Passport No field, type your full passport number (usually alphanumeric).

    • ๐Ÿ“ Make sure it matches exactly what's shown on your physical passport.

  2. Enter the Passport Card Number (if applicable)

    • Some countries issue a separate passport card number.

    • If yours doesnโ€™t have one, you can leave this blank.

  3. Enter the Passport Expiry Date ๐Ÿ“…

    • Use the format: DD-MM-YYYY

    • Example: 15-09-2030

    • Make sure your passport is not expired at the time of submission!

  4. Review Before Proceeding โœ…
    Double-check all fields for accuracy. Once everything looks good, you're ready to move on.

If you accidentally clicked "Use Passport" but meant to enter licence info, just click "Use Licence" (in purple text) to toggle back .

๐ŸŒ Select Your Residency Status
Choose the button that applies to you:

  • Australian Citizen ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ

  • Permanent Resident

  • New Zealand Citizen ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ

  • Working Visa

  • Student Visa ๐ŸŽ“

โœ… Click once to select โ€” the selected option will stay highlighted.

๐Ÿ’ Marital Status
Choose one:

  • Married/De Facto ๐Ÿ’‘

  • Single / Divorced / Widowed

๐Ÿ“ Just click the button that matches your current status.

๐Ÿ’ก Reminders:

  • Fields with a * are mandatory.

  • If something doesnโ€™t apply to you, itโ€™s okay to leave it blank (unless marked with a *).

  • Make sure all dates are in DD-MM-YYYY format.

  • You can click โ€œRemoveโ€ on the left if the person is no longer a guarantor.

๐Ÿ“‡ Contact Details โ€“ Entering Your Contact Info

๐Ÿ“ Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. ๐Ÿ“ง Email

    • Click on the text box and enter your personal or business email address (e.g., [email protected]).

  2. ๐Ÿ“ฑ Mobile Number

    • Click on text box and type your Australian mobile number (e.g., 0412 345 678).

    • Numbers only, no need for spaces or dashes.

  3. ๐Ÿ  Current Address

    • Youโ€™ll see an Address field (e.g., UNIT 6 99 EASTERN VALLEY WAY CASTLECRAG NSW 2068).

    • If this is incorrect or incomplete:

      • Click the box and update it using the dropdown search tool.

      • Type slowly and select your full address from the suggestions that appear.

๐Ÿ  Manually Adding a Current Address โ€“ Step-by-Step Guide

If the address dropdown doesnโ€™t show your exact location or if you'd rather just type it yourself, you can enter it manually. Here's how ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿ”น Step 1: Click "Add Address Manually"

  • Youโ€™ll see this button under the Address field in purple:

Once clicked, a detailed address form will appear.

๐Ÿ”น Step 2: Fill in Each Field Carefully

What to Enter

Unit number

Click on field and input apartment or unit number (leave blank if none)

Street number

Click on field and type number of the property (e.g., 99)

Street Name

Click on field and type street name only (e.g., Eastern Valley Way)

Street Type

Click on field and select from the dropdown (e.g., Alley, Access)

PostCode

4-digit postcode (e.g., 2068)

City

Suburb or locality (e.g., Castlecrag)

State

Click and choose from dropdown (e.g., NSW, VIC, QLD)

Country

Click on dropdown list and choose country

๐Ÿ”น Step 3: Add How Long Youโ€™ve Lived There

  • Click on the dropdown list for:

    • Years at ๐Ÿ•

    • Months at ๐Ÿ•

    Example: 2 years and 4 months

๐Ÿ”น Step 4: Save the Address

  • Once all fields are filled, click SAVE ADDRESS (button will become active).

Optional: Use Google Search Instead ๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿ’ป

If you prefer not to type everything:

  • Click USE GOOGLE ADDRESS SEARCH to go back to the faster method.

  • Just type your address and select it from the dropdown suggestions.

  • Privacy Agreement

Before you can run a credit check, the guarantor must sign a privacy consent form.

โœ๏ธ Two Ways to Do This:

Option 1: Get Signed Privacy (Self-Service Option)

๐Ÿšซ This button is greyed out if you havenโ€™t entered the guarantorโ€™s email + mobile yet.

  • Once those fields are filled, this button becomes active.

  • Click it to send a digital signing link to the guarantor.

  • They'll receive a secure form to e-sign the privacy agreement.

Option 2: Upload Signed Privacy

๐Ÿ“ค If you already have a signed form (PDF, scan, etc.):

  • Click Upload sign privacy on the right.

  • Choose the file from your computer.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Clicking on the dropdown box gives you access to more Credit Score Type Options however if you are on Commercial Application or Consumer Application then the Credit Score Type will be pre-filled for you based on the type of application.

๐Ÿ‘‰ If you wish to view an extended list of credit score type options, click on the dropdown box on the right hand side of the box and choose your desired option.

  • Personal Profile

๐Ÿก Property / Living Arrangements

Select your current housing situation by clicking one of the buttons:

  • Property Owner โ€“ Click on Property Owner if customer is a property owner

  • Renting โ€“ Click Renting if customer is renting a property

  • Boarding โ€“ Click Boarding is customer is sharing home with others

  • Living w/ Parents โ€“ Click living w/parents if customer stays at family home

๐Ÿ™Žโ€โ™‚๏ธNumber of Dependents

Use the slider to select how many dependents you financially support (e.g., children, elderly parents).

  • Slide the circle on the bar

Personal Finances ๐Ÿ’ฐ

๐Ÿ’ฐ Assets

  1. Asset Type

    • Click the dropdown and select from options like Investments, Superannuation, Motor Vehicle, etc.

2.Value

  • Click on the field and enter the estimated dollar value of the asset (e.g., 25,000 for a car).

3. Description

  • Click on the field and add a short note (e.g., โ€œ2017 Toyota Corollaโ€ or โ€œTerm deposit at CBAโ€).

โœ… Once done, click Add Asset to save the entry. You can add multiple assets if needed and remove them also if needed.

๐Ÿ’ณ Liabilities (What You Owe)

  1. Liabilities Type

    • Choose from options like Credit Card, Personal Loan, Mortgage, etc.

2. Value

  • Click on the field and enter the estimated dollar value of the asset (e.g., 25,000 for a car).

3. Description

  • Click on the field and add a short note (e.g., โ€œ2017 Toyota Corollaโ€ or โ€œTerm deposit at CBAโ€).

โœ… Once done, click Add Asset to save the entry. You can add multiple assets if needed and remove them also if needed.

๐Ÿ’ณ Liabilities (What You Owe)

  1. Liabilities Type

    • Choose from options like Credit Card, Personal Loan, Mortgage, etc.

2.Outstanding Amount

  • Click on the Outstanding Amount field and enter what the customer still owe (not the original loan amount).

3. Limit

  • Click on the Limit field and add the full credit limit or loan cap

4. Financier

  • Click on the financier text field and name who provided the loan or credit (e.g., NAB, ANZ, Commbank)

5. Repayment Frequency

  • Select how often you make repayments (e.g., Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly).

  • Click the dropdown box and a list of options will be displayed below. Click the appropriate option

6. Repayment Amount

  • Click on the repayment amount field

  • Enter appropriate value

7. Description

  • Click on description filed to add any notes to clarify the liability (e.g., โ€œCredit card for household useโ€).

โœ… Click Add Liability if you wish to record more liabilities.

๐Ÿšซ Click on Remove Liability if you wish to remove liabilities.

Personal Profile โ€“ Renting

Once โ€œRentingโ€ is selected, two new fields appear below:

  1. ๐Ÿ“ž Landlord or Agent Contact Number

    • Click on Contact number field and enter the phone number of landlord or real estate agent.

    • Format: Australian mobile or landline (e.g., 0412 345 678 or 02 9876 5432)

  2. ๐Ÿ’ธ Monthly Rent Amount

    • Click on rent amount month and type current monthly rent (e.g., 1800)

    • No dollar signs needed โ€“ just the numbers.

    ๐Ÿ‘‰ Only numbers and decimal points allowed.

Identity โ€“ Verifying Your ID Documents

Option 1: Get ID Documents via OCR Labs (Self-Service)

โš ๏ธ This button will only work after a valid mobile number is entered under contact details.

  1. Once the mobile number is filled in, the โ€œGet ID documentsโ€ button becomes active.

  2. Click the button to send a secure self-service link to the customer.

  3. The customer receives an SMS to upload their ID using their phone camera.

Option 2: Upload ID Documents Manually

If the customer already sent you ID files (e.g., scanned licence or passport):

  1. Click the Upload ID documents button on the right.

  2. Choose the files stored locally on your computer.

  3. Make sure the files are:

    • Clear and readable

    • Unexpired

    • In PDF, JPEG, or PNG format

๐Ÿ›‘ Common Errors to Avoid:

  • Missing mobile number (prevents self-service link)

  • Blurry or cropped documents

  • Expired IDs
